The goals of the project are to implement a response team consisting of a victim advocate, law enforcement detective, prosecuting attorney, and medical advocate. A multi-disciplinary policy will be drafted, to be followed by members of the response team, as well as procedures for implementation. The project will encompass a training component specific to the needs of the individual team members to insure quality control in the implementation of the protocol. The training will also increase effective response to violent crimes against women. |
