Listed below is the necessary paperwork to participate in the 1033 Program. Before submitting the required information to the State Point of Contact (POC), please make copies for your files.
Once all required information is submitted, the Application for Participation is forwarded to the Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO), who issues an Authorization Letter. The Authorization Letter allows individuals listed on the letter to screen/request surplus 1033 equipment. Along with the Authorization Letter, each participating agency has an identification number (ID) for screening property online. The agency ID will be forwarded with the Authorization Letter. For more information on requesting equipment, please see the "Equipment" page.
