On Thursday January 10, 2013, at approximately 4:25 am, Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash, westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 38.

Tancy Alexander, 48, of Middleton, lost control of the 1999 freighliner semi and the vehicle jack-knifed, blocking all the lanes.
 
The lanes were completely blocked for about two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the crash.
